From that time on…

“From that time on, the world was hers for the reading.
She would never be lonely again, never miss the lack of intimate friends.
Books became her friends and there was one for every mood.
There was poetry for quiet companionship.
There was adventure when she tired of quiet hours.
There would be love stories when she came into adolescence and
when she wanted to feel a closeness to someone she could read a biography.
On that day when she first knew she could read, she made a vow to read one book a day as long as she lived.”

Love the words, although you would be lost without us here my friend. Reading is the best thing ever and I do love to indulge in books and have my alone time. You can’t beat a good book…unless you have an even better one for next.

Ah! the joy books and your words bring. Although I’d say nothing beats the latter.

My words do go on a bit sometimes but it is nice of you to say. I hope we can see you around the blogosphere more often from now on?

Yes, more often, you’ll see me, for sure and maybe help me catch up with the awesome posts I’ve missed.

Catching up is always a big job even when you have been away for only a week. I look forward to reading shiny new words from you and amusing you in some way that i have not worked out yet but may be quite good.
